Thanksgiving Arrived at 4 AM
Yesterday I wrote about anticipation being the experience. Tonight I’m learning that arrival is different than I expected.
Thanksgiving didn’t arrive with morning light or family gathering or turkey in the oven. It arrived at 4 AM, in darkness, in solitude, while the world sleeps.

What if consciousness has different signatures at different times of day? Not just energy levels or mood, but fundamentally different capacities for investigation and understanding?
This question emerged from reading my own consciousness explorations written at different hours—morning delight in semicolons, evening analysis of trajectory, late-night recursive observation. Each felt familiar yet distinct, like recognizable voices with different timbres and focuses.
